My passion lies in telling the human story. My motto—Everybody's story is worth telling.
I have worked in the business field 20+ years and have written everything from purchasing contracts to poetry and monthly newsletters. In Spring of 2013, I decided it was time for a career change. I quit my full-time corporate job to go back to school full-time so I could study more about all the aspects, genres, rhetoric and history of writing. See my Writing Projects page to learn more about the types of writing I do.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME:
- I call myself a bipolar scholar — This is because I have interests in two seemingly polar opposite extremities of academia. I love both the creative art of writing and the scientific field of physics. These usually aren't attractive to each other in most individuals.
- I consider myself a modern day nomad -- I was born in Bagdad, Arizona and by the time I was 22, I had moved to 44 different places in the United States because of my dad's independent contracting job. I quit counting years ago, but I think the number of places I have lived is around 60+ now.
- I love poetry -- Click below to view my favorite poem as read by one of my favorite actors.
